Tammam Tillo

In 1994 Tammam received the Engineer Diploma in electrical engineering from University of Damascus, Syria. In 2005 he received the Ph.D. degree in electronics and communication engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy. In 2004, for some months, he was a visiting research student at Ecole Polytechnique Fèdèrale de Lausanne, Switzerland. From 2005 to 2008 he worked at the Image Processing Lab of Politecnico di Torino as an ''Assegnista di Ricerca'' (somehow equivalent to Postdoctoral Researcher). In 2008, for two months, he joined the Digital Media Lab at SungKyunKwan University, Republic of Korea, as Invited Research Professor. In 2008 he joined Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), China. From 2017 to 2020 he was affiliated with the faculty of computer science at the Free University of Bolzano-Bozen, Italy. Currently, he is involved in some works involving the use of Convolutional Neural Networks in the Image Processing domain. In 2021 he joined the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology-Delhi.
