Functional Genomics Symposium

Online Registration

Organizer: Center for Computational Biology @IIIT-Delhi.
Date: 2nd Dec 2017, Saturday
Time: 8:30 am – 6:30 pm
Venue: Academic Block, IIIT- Delhi

Motivation: Regulatory genomics is an established field where researchers make inference about regulation of gene and their products. The view about cell structure, gene regulation, and chromatins is being constantly upgraded with new experimental and computational analysis. With advent of next gen. Sequencing and single cell technologies, scientist are rewriting the concepts about structure and function of genes and components of chromatin as well as effect of external environment and microbiome. The new emerging concepts about gene-regulation are also paving ways for translational and clinical applications. Thus new insights from regulatory genomics study will change the way we would be diagnosed in future. Hence it becomes important to have brainstorming sessions to know about new insights as well as methods used to make gene-regulation inference. Therefore we have gathered a set of experts who could expose us to integrative and novel analysis for regulatory genomics.

Who should attend: Students, faculty, researchers and industry professionals who are either working or have interest in the field of Genomics and Diseases.
