M.Tech. (ECE) Admission Details 2021

IIIT-Delhi subscribes to the view, that a Master degree is primarily industry-focused, though it can be used as a stepping stone for research as well. The decision whether the degree is to be pursued for skill and knowledge up-gradation, or also for building research skills should rest with the student.

The Institute feels that to address the needs of the industry, which today requires more specialized manpower as each field is getting more complex, it is desirable to provide specializations within ECE in the M.Tech. program. For this, the Institute permits a student to do a "M.Tech." or "M.Tech. with specialization". The following are the available specializations:

1. M.Tech. (Electronics and Communications Engineering)
   • M.Tech. in ECE with specialization in VLSI & Embedded Systems
   • M.Tech. in ECE with specialization in Machine Learning (New Specialization)
   • M.Tech. in ECE with specialization in Cyber-Physical Systems (New Specialization)

Note :The candidates need to indicate her/his preferences for all specializations while filling the online application form. The shortlisted candidates will be given a chance to modify their preference after interview process.The offer of admission will be done according to the filled preferences and the merit list.
