Application Procedure for BTech 2018

According to CBSE, students who have obtained total marks of 476 or higher in CBSE examination 2017 or 2018 are in the 99 percentile. Hence, all students (in Delhi category) who have secured total of 476 or more are eligible to apply for bonus marks, as announced earlier.

Application Process

Admission through Joint Admission Counselling, Delhi (JAC) Admission through IIIT-Delhi admission process using UCEED Rank Admission through IIIT-Delhi admission process using XII score
The admission to B.Tech(CSE), B.Tech(ECE), B.Tech(CSAM), B.Tech(CSB) and to some seats of B.Tech(CSD) and B.Tech(CSSS) will be done through Joint Admission Counselling(JAC Delhi). During joint counselling, admissions will be offered to candidates in accordance with IIIT-D merit list in different categories. Detailed instructions for joint counselling will be posted on the counselling site from time to time. The joint counselling portal (www.jacdelhi.nic.in) will be activated around 10th June. Admission to some seats of B.Tech(CSD) will be based on applicant's UCEED rank. Bonus marks are not applicable to this mode of admission . Admission will be based on the total marks obtained in class XII for best five subjects including Maths & Bonus marks as mentioned in brochure 2018.

  1. Opening of Application: Thursday, 31st May 2018
  2. Last date to apply: Sunday, 10th June 2018      Friday, 15th June 2018
  3. Document verification for Bonus Marks and PD: Monday, 11th June 2018      Saturday, 16th June 2018
  4. First Round of Seat Allotment: Wednesday, 13th June 2018      Monday, 18th June 2018
  5. First Round reporting: Friday, 15th June 2018      Wednesday, 20th June 2018
  6. Second Round of Seat Allotment: Saturday, 16th June 2018     Thursday, 21st June 2018
  7. Second Round reporting: Monday, 18th June 2018      Friday, 22nd June 2018
  8. Last date of withdrawal: Wednesday, 20th June 2018      Saturday, 23rd June 2018

Rs. 1.35 Lacs (1st Semester Tuition Fee + Rs. 10K Refundable Security Deposit) is payable on the day of reporting at the Institute. Please note that if you withdraw your admission on or before the last day of withdrawal, the amount of fees deposited by you will be refunded after deducting Rs. 1,000. In case you withdraw your admission after the last date of withdrawal , no refund of fee will be made except the Security deposit amount.

Note:

  1. No admissions will be done after the commencement of the classes even if some candidates drop out. Information and instructions for counselling, orientation, etc. will be posted from time to time on the Institute’s website.
  2. Tentative date of opening of admission process through JAC Delhi is June 15, 2018. Candidates are requested to keep visiting JAC-Delhi website for details.
