Counseling for Delhi candidates: List of candidates
When: 9th July, 2011 (Saturday)
Where: IIIT-Delhi, Room-3, 2nd floor Library Building, NSIT Campus, Sec-3, Dwarka

A student has to be physically present during counseling.  A student will not be admitted or put on wait list in absentia by providing an undertaking etc. If a student cannot attend due to medical reasons or any emergency reason, explicit written permission must be taken from the Admission Controller, IIIT-Delhi before the date of the counseling through email to btech-admissions@iiitd.ac.in.

The counseling will be done for the seats mentioned in the information brochure. Unfilled seats in the reserved categories will be converted as mentioned in the information brochure. Attending the counseling does not guarantee admission.

Outside Delhi Candidates

You are requested to be present in IIIT-Delhi, Room-3, 2nd floor Library building, NSIT Campus by 8:30AM on 8th July, 2011 (Friday).

Delhi Candidates

You are requested to be seated in IIIT-Delhi, Room-3, 2nd floor Library building, NSIT Campus by 8:30 AM on 9th July, 2011 (Saturday).

Schedule

* Candidates who fail to register by 10:00 AM may be added to the end of the list of registered candidates, subject to the Director's approval.

** Kashmiri Migrants: Candidates who appeared for the test and wish to seek admission in the Kashmiri Migrant category will have to report by 10:30 AM with this form duly certified. There is no separate merit list for them; they will be considered on the spot based on their rank. There is only one seat in this category.

Required Documents

* OBC certificate: Candidates belonging to the OBC category are directed to bring a Non-creamy layer certificate issued after 31.03.2011 by the competent authority stating that they do not belong to Creamy Layer at the time of counseling/admission (alongwith their OBC certificate). Candidates who fail to produce the non-creamy layer certificate issued after 31.03.2011 during counseling may be considered if they produce the OBC certificate along with this undertaking on a Rs10 stamp paper and produce the required non-creamy layer certificate by 14th July, 2011 4PM.
 

Wait List & Withdrawing Admission

Any seats left vacant will be filled subsequently as per the following schedule from the wait list that will be created in the order of merit from the students registered on 08th July 2011 for the counseling and not offered an admission. If any seat becomes available due to withdrawal of admission, the information will be posted on the website and the next candidate in the waiting list of the same category will be invited for admission in the order of merit. This invitation will be sent by email as well as communicated on phone as seats become available. A candidate thus invited will have to take admission as per the schedule described below. Fee refund dates will remain the same as below.

A candidate can withdraw his/her admission by sending a written request along with a copy of his offer letter to Admission Controller, IIIT-Delhi and an email to btech-admissions@iiitd.ac.in.

No admissions will be made after 01-08-2011 and there will be no refund of fees after 01-08-2011 11AM.

The deadlines (along with the time specified) in the above schedule will be strictly enforced. Wherever time is not mentioned, the email should be received before 12 midnight of that day.
